A/Prof Chris Daly
Associate Professor Chris Daly is a Gold Coast-based Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgery Specialist, with a focus on minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries.
Originally from Brisbane, Dr Daly completed his education at the University of Queensland and completed his neurosurgical training in various centers across Australia and a Spine Surgery Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. Dr Daly is an active member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. With a PhD from Monash University, his research focuses on adult stem cells in treating lumbar degenerative disease. He continues to be actively involved in research, presenting at international conferences and publishing in academic journals.
Since returning to the Gold Coast, Dr Daly has established the Neurospine Centre for advanced neurological and spinal care, carried out clinical work at Gold Coast University Hospital, and served as an Associate Professor at Griffith University School of Medicine. He currently operates at Gold Coast Private Hospital, where he provides care for privately insured, Veteran Affairs, and third-party insured patients, as well as those involved in workers' compensation claims.
